Looking back on March (and February)

LookingBackMarchIt’s time for another edition of what’s been up with Kelly this past month. And, err, the month before. Incidentally, I meant to post February’s post at the end of February/beginning of March, but I sorta, kinda, maybe forgot. Oops.

But let’s not dwell on my flaws, shall we?

*ahem* In February, I worked pretty much exclusively on Cursed Bones, Grimwood #3. I finished it up mid-March and it’s currently steeping in its own juices just waiting for me to come back to it with a reread. For all it took me two months to write, it was a fairly straightforward book. Plus, twisted fairy tales are always fun to play with.

The second half of March, I decided to write another Monstrous Matchmaker book. This will set up Ari’s next storyline, although we won’t be seeing any of those books until 2017. But they’re percolating in my head and I’m rubbing my hands together at the things that are bubbling up.

February saw the release of Future Perfect and March brought us Hard Wired, closing out the Pinnacle Point series. I say that I’m finished with the series, but I had a lot of fun playing in that world and might revisit it from time to time. Because why not, right? Supernatural critters need love, too!

April is a Camp Nano month and the plan is to work on the second book in an series tentatively titled Wicked Pride. Book 1 won’t be coming out until the end of the year with book two following not long behind. Since I am notorious for jumping projects if the muse demands it, we’ll see if I get all of this book written or if I end up working on something else. (For the record, I’m fairly confident Wicked Pride book 2 will be the book, but you never know!)

Here’s to a fun and productive April!
