Looking back on June…

LookingBackJuneAhhh, June. The weather starts heating up and I pretty much stay indoors as much as possible. Mostly because I burn like crazy, but that’s another story for another day.

What did I do writing-wise? June found me plugging away on Cursed Touch, the 4th book in the Grimwood series. Slowly. Because sometimes books come out in bits and pieces instead of one dizzying clump of words. (I prefer the balls-to-the-wall books, myself, when writing, but you take each book as it comes.) I’ve also had my head in the sci-fi clouds lately and keep drifting in that direction with a little side project I’m working on.

So, umm, hope you like sci-fi romance with surly characters and ‘splosions and probably some kissing aboard a space ship.

June saw the release of Operation Sasquatch. Not long after, the final book in the Monstrous Matchmaker series went up for preorder. Operation Date Night takes us back to Ari and her green honey and lays the groundwork for the next (and possibly final) series in the Monstrous collective. Now I just need to map out the story arc and figure out what to call that new series. (That’s a 2017 project, however.)

Here’s to a productive July!
