About a month ago I joined a writing accountability group. Basically, I meet once a week with several other writers and we set goals and celebrate victories as we work our way through our different projects. This has been a HUGE help for me because it’s given me the push I need to get some of those little, piddly things done that I might have otherwise put off as well as keep me on track with my writing.
So, when one of my accountability partners came up with the idea of having a community based around April’s Camp NaNo (which I’m participating in) where participants would be able to interact on a small scale with other writers, I was ALL OVER THAT. I’ll be hanging out in The Writing Sidekick‘s Google+ community with words of encouragement and internet cheerleaders ( *\o/* *\o/* *\o/* ) as we get to writing in April.
If you’re going to be participating in Camp NaNo (yes, I do love NaNo-ing!), JOIN US! As I like to say, those boner jokes are more fun when other people are there to laugh with you!
