(Heeeeyyyyy, everybody. I used to do a Feature Friday post every Friday to showcase books on my backlist and…I just stopped? For no reason? Like, I took a 6 month vacation and forgot to tell myself about it. Wow. Last year messed up my sense of time, didn’t it? Anywho…Feature Friday is back. Hopefully consistently. You know, provided my brain doesn’t take another six-month vacation again.)
So. Ari has come a long way since her first lusty steps into the supernatural world. She’s found love and acceptance and she’s strong-armed anyone near her into finding mates of their own. I’m only mostly kidding about that. Ari’s matches were pretty solid. Even the ones she didn’t actually facilitate, but claimed credit for anyway. *cough*Vane and Cin*cough*
At the end of the Matchmaker, I knew there was more coming. Mostly because I wanted those monsters out and proud and able to walk down the streets without skulking in shadows. Thus Revelations was born.
It was time, my friends. Time for those monsters to be revealed.
Honestly, this is Ari we’re talking about, so she’s a little haphazard in her planning, but she has a good heart and it ultimately leads her to where she needs to be. And it works. Her insistence that they, as a monstrous community, are stronger together is sort of the cornerstone of Ari’s philosophy about life. When they band together, they can do amazing things.
So she bands them. She ropes her monstrous friends in and makes a plan and THINGS HAPPEN.
Great things. Sexy things, too. Which is to be expected given this is ARI we’re talking about.
