Ahhh, yeah. Natalie and Mason.
Look, I have a thing for freakishly large werewolves who eat EXTREMELY LARGE AMOUNTS OF FOOD. A thing, okay? A thing.
Mason is both freakishly large (dire wolf, peeps!) and always hungry. So he eats. Because he can.
Natalie is not freakishly large. Or a wolf. And she’s got issssssues. Family issues. Body image issues. Freaked out by her potential future issues. She needs someone who isn’t afraid to help her shoulder those issues.
No lie, Mason’s freakishly large shoulders get the job done.
I seriously love these two together. Natalie wasn’t the nicest person in the earlier books and I hadn’t been planning on telling her story AT ALL. Yet here we are. With Natalie and Mason finding their happy place.
Some characters just demand to have their story told, don’t they?
