I started writing on Cursed Wolves, Grimwood #2, this past weekend. My author friend Christi Snow and I were joking around about having free time (my entire family was out of town and I had SO MUCH uninterrupted time to write) and somehow I got it in my head that I wanted to try to reach the halfway point in the book. So, umm, I wrote.
And wrote.
And wrote.
And wrote.
And now you get a sneak peek (totally unedited and probably chock full of weird grammar errors!):
Connor could tell by the prickle on the back of his neck that his stalker was back.
The feeling of being watched had started nearly two months ago. Two long months of having his daily movements dissected and studied. He didn’t like it.
Today, he’d get to the bottom of who they were and why they were following him around like a stray dog. Until the little troublemaker walked into his snare, however, there was work to be done.
The muscles in his shoulders flexed and bunched as he swung his axe in a graceful movement to split the log he’d been readying.
Cursed Wolves! CURSED WOLVES! Blurb and cover coming soon. The blurb might get tweaked a bit depending on where the story takes me. So, STAY TUNED FOR THAT!
Now I have to get back to writing!
