Somehow, my family managed to adopt a wild kitten that had been living under our porch.
I know, I know. “Somehow”, right? Guys, this little guy is so adorably cute. I CAN’T EVEN WITH HIM. He went from streaking in the opposite direction whenever we tried to approach to creeping closer and closer whenever we’d go outside. He got bold enough to start sniffing fingers and being curious about my fuzzy slippers. This week, he started doing the quintessential cat thing and wound around my legs while I was standing at the door.
The little bugger greets me whenever I open the door. Look at that face! (and totally ignore the crappy picture taking. I have many skills. Taking good pictures is not one of them.)
So, yeah. Somehow we adopted a kitten.
If a kitten pops up in a book some time in the future, blame the little nugget who decided we were a good family to hang out with.
